Tooele marching band backdrops

I had an opportunity to create some visual backdrops for The Tooele high school marching band. This year they performed the music of Danny Elfman with music from Tales From The Crypt, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissor Hands and Beetlejuice. These backdrops were airbrushed on fabric.

Painting Eyes

I just finished a display mask for a guy and this is the final paint job on it. This is the first time I have painted eyes... it was a fun experience

Full Head Halloween Mask

I have been working on my first ever full head foam latex Halloween mask for the last few weeks. This was an amazing project and I had a blast doing it. I designed, sculpted, molded and painted this mask. I took a class from a very talented fx artist named Josh Counsel at his M.U.S.E school of makeup and fx.

FX Mask Making Class With Rayce Bird

I was very fortunate to have taken an FX mask making class this weekend from Rayce Bird the winner of the Syfy channels season 2 Face Off show. I learned a lot from him and I made some great new friends. It was also fun to listen to some of his experiences from the show. I have added some pictures of the process from sculpting out the design to casting the latex and then final painting.
